Our Inspiration and Founder

6th October 2023

Our hearts were broken today when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Sarah.
Sarah is a wonderful, caring, funny, glamorous, loving and thoughtful person. She worked tirelessly to make Pink Events the marvellous charity that it is, always thinking of ways in which to raise money and
awareness.
Pink Events will carry on Sarah’s legacy and work to make her proud which we are sure she is and will be.
Sarah is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Auntie and has been surrounded by all of her family this week.
Thank you to the team at St.James’ Hospital, LGI Heart Unit and Wheatfields Hospice for making her final days comfortable and peaceful.
She is loved by so many and will be missed by all.
Lots of love from the Pink Events’ family

“What we do for ourselves dies with us.
What we do for others and the world, remains and is immortal”

This was a quote Sarah had on her social media.
She was an inspiration to many people who were going through breast cancer treatments and fought her own illness with such dignity, humour, resilience and determination.
Sarah was also an inspiration to the Pink Events team. So many of her ideas for fund raising events have helped raise nearly £400,000 for our charity.
She was incredible.
